When COVID-19 shut down gyms and made public transportation unsafe, Americans turned to bikes for recreation, exercise, and commuting. Leisure-bike sales spiked 121% in the US in March, and the peak is still holding. Business Insider stopped by Linus Bike in Los Angeles and State Bicycle in Tempe, Arizona, to see how the companies are pivoting to keep up with the unprecedented demand.
Correction: Adam McDermott is the founder of Linus Bike.

  • Amazing Video. Bitcoin has faced a rather strong resistance after its explosion to the $11,100 highs. At the recent lows, the asset traded as low as $10,300 - around 8% ish below the local highs couple of weeks back. Despite this slight slip and the fact that BTC remains above $14,000, we should all remain bullish on Bitcoin. I think bitcoin could soon move higher to $20,000 in a couple of days. As a crypto trader the past few weeks has recorded immerse benefits all round, my only regret now is not knowing Mr taylor on time, his top notch signals remains the bedrock of the successes recorded in my personal trading portfolio. his trading technics helps me get my profit. i already made $100k with his. investing on cryptocurrencies is now the new source of income for everyone he continues to be an inspiration to all who have been fortunate to have made use of his signals. You all can reach out to him through morgantaylor587@gmail.com or on WhatsApp +1 409 299 3921

  • In the USA pre COVID if you told an adult you rode a bike they would give you a strange look and ask why. Are you a child? Meanwhile across the North Atlantic you would tell another adult you rode a bike and they would ask how many you own. I really hope the infrastructure for cycling improves in the USA from this. Its very dangerous to ride here. I've had people loose their lives to motorist because of it. 121% laugh..... demand at my local shop was up and over 500% !!!

  • This video missed the mark so bad. These aren't bike shops, they are bike companies sold in a retail location. Bike shops carrying multiple brands can't get bikes in almost any category. Parts and accessories are now next to impossible to get since they customers can't get new bikes. This channel failed to show the real scale of what's going on in the bike industry right now. It's really just laziness on their part.

  • I am in Indonesia, experiencing same events. Bicycle demands so high, already put my name on waiting list for the last 3 months but still don't get the bikes. In here, Polygon is the favorite brand for entry level bikes. Unfortunately, if I am not patient enough I have to pay 20 - 40 percents more from retail price for same bike at secondary market.
