How Billionaires Got $637 Billion Richer During The Pandemic

40 million Americans filed for unemployment during the pandemic, but billionaires saw their net worth increase by half a trillion dollars. This isn’t the first time billionaires have seen gains while others dealt with loss, and it tends to tie back to two things. First, the government disproportionately gives more aid to banks and corporations. Then, when the stock market bounces back, the unequal bailouts mean that the wealthy still have money on hand to invest and thus profit, while the middle and lower classes do not. Wealth-friendly tax laws and loopholes then keep those billionaires at the top. Knowing all of this, some are advocating for policies to help level the playing field and create change.

  • Soon revolution will come In history the rich may get richer but soon the lower class always has enough. But then once everything resets the cycle starts all over again.

    • @Trill Bezos increased his wealth by $55 billion, the Walton family by 60 billion. It's pretty easy to see why, since Amazon and Walmart are doing gangbusters business during the pandemic

  • This just proves to me how much money is abundant in the world. Why do billionaires keep making more and more of it? Because there is more and more to make. It‘s an attitude

  • Wallstreet is ORCHESTRATED L00TING, Bankrupting perfectly good companies. Financial Media are Wallstreet Bank's mouthpieces, creating narratives SUNSHINE & DOOM GLOOM when exactly required, carpet-B@mbing all over. They make retailers little guys BUY HIGH and SELL LOW.. Most of the stocks are down for last 5 years, except the ones the super rich, banks have their money parked in FANGs like story, underneath everything, every stock has been drowning forever. When Wllst Banks fails to force you to sell or hand over all the shares in a company back to them through SCARE, DOOM & GLOOM tactics, they plot Bankruptcy and take it all from mom & pop.. Then P0MP & D0MP again, then DOOM & GLOOM again.. Repeat, Rinse, and Wash, this cycle is played over and over again.. Judges, Financial Medias are all in it, or else this would not be possible for this long and ever.. Save your money, put it in real BUSINESS, REAL-ESTATE, save money for rainy days.. O and they have a profile on you if you have money, stock account, Brokerage account, they know what you comment, your psychology, what you own, credit score, your bank balance, so they can squeeze you, force you to sell with a huge loss, to mitigate margin loan requirement.. If you criticize JPM, Goldmansack etc, you are forever targeted, your every stock will be pulverized, you will suffer losses, no matter the size of you company of stock.. Through algorithm, they will corner your account, stocks so you never see profit, only suffer losses, and PAIN, PAIN, AND MORE PAIN.. Name of the game is "PAIN & MORE PAIN"..

    • Laws are twisted to help BILLIONAIRES, Wllst MANIPULATION OF PRICES as required by them, Financial media create narratives according to their needs, and then spread like carpet-B@MBING.. Having said that, rich, Billionaires in general work much much more harder than you and I can ever imagine or give them credit for.. More importantly, they don't stash their money under the mattress or under the ground, and they ultimately end up giving it to charity, be it during their lifetime or after death.. Their wealth are PAPER WEALTH, which means, it's invested to create buildings, infrastructures, companies & businesses that are productively creating economical activities and cycling the wealth to create value, MILLIONS of jobs, GDP GROWTH, taxes in other forms at different levels even if they don't pay it directly, but by chain reaction of down stream businesses.. I know plenty of poor people who waste large sum of their income in WEED, DR0GS, and other selfish s!ns, expensive items BMW Benz, Clubs, then complain they don't have money for rent, or struggling during recession, fail to pay mortgages etc.. I also know poor people who walk 5 miles to work at meager McDonald job, or wash cars for few dollars.. Bottom line, we society need both Rich & Poor, Middle class, and all.. Without Rich hunger for building value, there would not be modern developments, medical breakthroughs, technological advancements, all the developments, creating of jobs.. Credit to Poor, Middle class, without them there would not be workers, workers who keep businesses ticking, keep doors open, provide handy human resources to keep businesses alive, function.. Rich people don't take their wealth to their graves, it's invested in building businesses, growth, economical activities, which creates more jobs. Rich after certain point is only PAPER numbers, enjoyment of name fame prestige, but ultimate beneficiaries are societies in general, from their money working.. So, not much complaint here

    • @Business Insider... The same Financial Media B.Insider, Wallstreet Journal, Barrons, Yahoo Finance, CNBC TV, Bloomberg, all of them are mouthpieces of Wallstreet Banks. When Banks want a particular stock to go down or bankrupt, ie, TESLA in 2019, they misinform, mislead, distort numbers and spread SCARE TACTICS, D00M & GL00M, like carpet-B@MBING every where you turn.. Once they Banks Wllst scared public to sell, handover all TSLA shares, overnight TESLA is a SKYROCKETING story, UP 1500%, all this in less than 1 year 2019 to 2020, while TESLA all factories shutdown due to C0VID-19.. MANIPULATION OF PRICE?? TESLA skyrocketed even during their entire factories closed, Elon Musk broken laws, but forgiven with slap on the wrist, even though he disrespected SEC Gov (thats what SUPER PRIVILEGED is about). You don't hear the Musk lawsuits anymore, it's all hush hush shhhh, under the carpet.. If it was you and I non-privileged, we would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the laws and more.. GL00M & D00M..vs..P0M & D0MP, Banks Wallstreet choose the time, when they want. It can be overnight like TESLA..

  • This is not truth, amazon is not paying taxes because company had no profit for years. It was reinvesting. US should be grateful that companies like amazon, tesla, facebook and google are located here. What would happen if they would be located somewhere else? Economy would never be the same. However this is weird how Dick Chaney is still not under arrest. This is a guy who really f-ed up not only the US but the whole world.

    • David Beltran It is possible to start an account with a smaller amount, such as $1000, but if doing so make a commitment to grow the account for at least a year before withdrawing any money. If you do this, and don’t risk more than 1% of your account on each trade, you can make about $50 per day to begin with, which over the course of a year will bring your account up to a few thousand dollars.

Wide In BTCWide In BTCPrieš 21 dieną
    • Lucas Moore Yeah yeah I can boast of expert Michael Fred because he helps me swing trading is when you hold positions for a couple days to a couple weeks. This style of forex trading is suited to people who don’t like looking at their charts constantly and/or who can only trade in their spare time.

      Scott SophiaScott SophiaPrieš 21 dieną
    • Parker Scott duke So with a $5000 account you can start to create a decent stream of daily income. If you allow the account to grow to $10,000 you can make roughly $250 per day. These are just estimates of course; a better estimate of your personal income potential will come from practicing in a demo account, and monitoring your results before even risking a single real dollar.

      David BeltranDavid BeltranPrieš 21 dieną
    • King Kerry exactly that’s why Mr Michael Eugene can never advise you to go for an account less than $1000 because the other problem with forex trading with such a small amount of money is that it offers almost no flexibility in the style of trading you undertake. If you deposit $100, and follow proper risk management protocols, you can only risk 10 pips if you take a 1 micro lot position. This forces you to be an active day trader, whether you want to day trade or not. With a 10 pip stop loss you won’t be able to swing trade or invest, since the price can easily move 10 pips against you, resulting in a losing trade, if you try to hold out for long-term gains.
