Nonprofits Frontline Foods and Off Their Plate are paying local restaurants across the country to make meals for frontline workers fighting COVID-19. So far, the programs have made and delivered 800,000 meals. We spoke with two restaurants, Golden Diner and Blackbarn, about the costly and difficult process of keeping their restaurants open.

  • Amazing Video. Bitcoin has faced a rather strong resistance after its explosion to the $11,100 highs. At the recent lows, the asset traded as low as $10,300 - around 8% ish below the local highs couple of weeks back. Despite this slight slip and the fact that BTC remains above $14,000, we should all remain bullish on Bitcoin. I think bitcoin could soon move higher to $20,000 in a couple of days. As a crypto trader the past few weeks has recorded immerse benefits all round,,, my only regret now is not knowing Mr taylor on time, his top notch signals remains the bedrock of the successes recorded in my personal trading portfolio. his trading technics helps me get my profit... i already made $100k with his. investing on cryptocurrencies is now the new source of income for everyone he continues to be an inspiration to all who have been fortunate to have made use of his signals....You all can reach out to him through or on WhatsApp +1 409 299 3921

  • Accepting donations used to keep businesses afloat, while donating the food to those fully capable of helping themselves is crap. There are millions of people out of work and starving, while homelessness continues to skyrocket. Perhaps the food produced could go to those who truly need it!!

  • When some US people are not bz rioting and looting, they continue to work hard with whatever they got, survive, unite and help the frontline workers who are fighting against the virus. Meanwhile, their leaders are burning bridges with other countries. In a nutshell, there are still good and hardworking people in the US amongst the many and even leaders who are just worsening the situation in the US.

  • Hopefully they can adapt after all this is over, and start a catering company for the small business who only did sit down, or take out foods. The catering can help with additional revenue, plus they already bought supplies to cook for hundreds of people. The Hospitals doctors and nurses can buy the lunch for the day from these restaurants. Just a thought.

Instead it's wasting valuable tax dollars doing those fighter planes flyovers that last a few seconds and served no practical purpose. The sad part is that most health workers are too busy indoors helping patients to even know of the flyovers. All show ánd no substance, smart decision by the top brass?

  • F*ck the frontline workers. They have money and most are getting paid extra during this time. I don’t see why they deserve special treatment, they’re just doing their job, that’s what they signed up for. They wouldn’t be there for free just for the love and care of people. There’s unemployed families who could benefit more from these meals instead.

    • @Elison Valdez why can we just thank them with food?? Their is a Organization called Share Your Strength. People donate food to feed the hungry and people who are doctors and nurses who work 15 to 19hr shifts to save lives. I don't to the fire department in my neighborhood as a good gesture to thank them for putting out fires from looters.

      Dulcelina CabralDulcelina CabralPrieš 5 mėnesių
    • During a pandemic the hospitals are only focusing in caring for the patients and the workforc is working harder and harder when cases are still increasing. So it would be difficult for private and government hospitals to cover for their staff during this crisis. And the non profit organization still needs to purchase water, cartons, and other ingredients for the food. And raw food can be scarce and can cause inflation of prices

      Elison ValdezElison ValdezPrieš 6 mėnesių
