What Happens After You Call 911 For The Coronavirus

We spoke with Hanan Cohen, the director of corporate development and community paramedicine for Empress EMS, a partner of PatientCare EMS Solutions, in New York's Westchester County, one of the most affected counties in the country so far with confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths. Hanan was COVID-19 positive himself and has since returned to work. He explained exactly what would happen should you call 911 for an ambulance within Empress EMS's region with the suspicion that you may have contracted the COVID-19 coronavirus.
Disclaimer: "When in doubt, call 911 for any coronavirus or other medical concerns."

What Happens After You Call 911 For The Coronavirus

  • Amazing Video. Bitcoin has faced a rather strong resistance after its explosion to the $11,100 highs. At the recent lows, the asset traded as low as $10,300 - around 8% ish below the local highs couple of weeks back. Despite this slight slip and the fact that BTC remains above $14,000, we should all remain bullish on Bitcoin. I think bitcoin could soon move higher to $20,000 in a couple of days. As a crypto trader the past few weeks has recorded immerse benefits all round,,, my only regret now is not knowing Mr taylor on time, his top notch signals remains the bedrock of the successes recorded in my personal trading portfolio. his trading technics helps me get my profit... i already made $100k with his. investing on cryptocurrencies is now the new source of income for everyone he continues to be an inspiration to all who have been fortunate to have made use of his signals. You all can reach out to him through morgantaylor587@gmail.com or on WhatsApp +1 409 299 3921

Not willing to pay for others poor health choices. 1:People have less financial incentive to stay healthy. 2:Long wait times. 3:Doctors may cut care to lower costs. 4:Health care costs overwhelm government budgets. Not worth paying for this so called socialist universal healthcare. The sickest 5% of the population create 50% of total health care costs, while the healthiest 50% only create 3% of costs. meps.ahrq.gov/data_files/publications/st455/stat455.pdf

I do know Chicago area EMT'S are taking similar precautions with patients. Chicago hospitals are not at full capacity yet so they are bringing patients in if they absolutely need to be in the emergency department.

We have a “covid hospital” and a “clean hospital” so that both hospitals can maximize their resources for treating non covid issues and covid issues respectively. We have more resources in this area than other counties in NY though so I know that’s not the case everywhere.

I never seen the bill and wouldn't give a Shit since I am in a country where we have free universal Healthcare. Also once again allow me to reiterate the circumstances once more I wasn't present during the scene. If I was in America during the incident I would've took her my damn self. But however... due to my mother's testimony she slipped and fell after a gentle thunderstorm. My Mother can't carry my Grandma because she has Arthritis. But yet for the 3rd time if I would've been there the outcome would have been much more different. So thank you for trying to correct me. You can be entitled to your own opinions while i can be entitled to my own facts. Take much care in America. I watch the news a lot. • Ill tell you what happens in arizona. Neighbor went through it with his sister. Ambulance comes. You are taken in. Only if severe symptoms and only at the preasing of your family pressing doctor to test you will they test you. If you the patient ask they wont. You test negative you go home. Positive? You go home. They tell you just stay inside 14 days. Elderly patient with dimentia. Yeah thats gonna work. She also is in a APARTMENT. So elder dimentia patient with covid sent home to a populated area snd told just stay inside as if she is even able to follow those directions nor will even remember to. Also took them a week to test herm so entire time she sat in hospital NOT quarantined spreading it. Yeah arizona isnt a hotspot we dont have near as much cases as like new york or california but we handle it HORRIBLY. We are lucky its hot as it is, heat kills the virus.

    • @StarfireSea her brother is that caregiver but they are saying he cant be there for her. He can sit outside her apartment but not go in and help her. He can slide food through door but thats it. So he has been sitting outside her apartment. She was sent in because she couldnt breathe. They observed her a week having her exposing everyone before even testing. Its ridiculous

      Rebecca MeyerRebecca MeyerPrieš 7 mėnesių
    • To tell you the truth it's like that in every state. Honestly if you're positive you should just stay home to not spread it to others. Only the ones having difficulty breathing are the ones needing to be in a hospital. Also ideally a dementia patient should never be left alone. She should have a caregiver and or family member to be with her at all times to make sure she's safe and following protocol.

  • My dad HAD covid-19 because of his brother caught it from work and his brother went to the ER. I called 911 because my dad had trouble breathing when I talked to him on the phone and everyone in our family was worried. Once the ambulance came, they asked my dad if he had trouble breathing, fever, diarrhea, etc. My dad answered yes to the symptoms and he was sick for 3 days. My dad did not get tested because the paramedic said if he got sent to the hospital, chance if he comes out negative. He will get infected and be sent back home (which they will not be accounted for). After all of this, paramedic told my dad to take Tylenol (not ibuprofen) and go to his doctor to see what he should do. They told him to stay home, eat apples and oranges, and take tylenol or other meds. My dad recovered, but his taste is still numb from what he told me.

    DannyDannyPrieš 7 mėnesių
